The future of Real Estate

The world we live in is changing drastically.  The traditional paper driven world has now transformed into the computer age, where digital bits and bytes have taken over.  Everyone now wants to be a part of the information age and be noticed and recognized online.  This change went through many changes, and now we’re at a point where the term gigabyte is being replaced by the Tera and peta bytes.  This trend of information growing exponentially has affected all industries in today’s market.  Are you ready for what’s next?

Accepting the digital age

Today’s digital age comprises of algorithms that run complex systems.  AI is now a common term.  Companies invest a lot of money on purchasing digital spaces that are maintained by some form of artificial intelligence.  What does this have to do with Real Estate?  Well, since everything is being digitized; eventually, if things keep accelerating the way they are, our future homes will exist somewhere in the digital space, or more commonly referred to as the Metaverse.

If we are to function in society, we will need to come to grips with all the technological advancements that the internet behemoth is unraveling before our eyes.  If you think I’m reaching too far here, and this sounds a bit too Sci-fi for you, then here’s a site that’s already preparing people on what to expect.  It’s called Blockee

Accessing Virtual Real Estate in the Metaverse

Blockee is an NFT marketplace for Virtual Real Estate.  You can access these virtual spaces and start owning your own virtual property.  Every day more and more people are buying and selling through this platform.  It’s like you’re peering in to a whole new world.   If you’ve ever seen the movie ‘Ready Player One’ by Steven Spielberg, you’ll understand that the world that’s unfolding before us today will be very similar in nature.  In Spielber’s movie, the Virtual AI world takes place in 2045.  I believe that this virtual RE marketplace will be here a lot sooner.  Facebook and other Social Media giants are already taking steps to bring this into fruition.  They’ve taken it so seriously that FB changed its name to Meta.
Microsoft and other big companies have also invested lots of money into this technology.  They even have dedicated stores in New York City where you can purchase virtual outerwear & eyewear.  Will we be prepared for all the virtual changes coming upon us?  Will you be ready to purchase your next home with some form of Crypto currency or NFT?
